Wonderful colors and textures. The paintings remind me of Monet, the Japanese art that influenced him, van Gogh, Odilon Redon, Lautrec, the dreamscapes of Chagall. The shells are small worlds of land, sea and sky, the oysters delightful plate work and designs. All the work I find superb and original. There is great variety in effect, form and emotion and are no repeats. Each item keeps rewarding with the pleasures of looking and seeing.

The oyster shells are little works of art on their own, and you have a way of making the painting and the natural shape of each shell come together beautifully. The larger shells give you more room to work with, allowing you to create complete works of art that look amazing.

The sheer number of works is striking. Not all of them are equally good. The painted seashells are reminiscent of Palekh art.
